"Carolina On My Mind" is a beautifully renovated one level home, no stairs, that is only an 8 minute walk to beautiful Folly Field Beach (the best beach on the island). Community is directly off bike path. Completely open floor plan for entertaining. The fenced backyard is a great place to relax with its private pool, sunny patio with tons of seating and sounds of the gentle water flowing from the spa into the pool. The pool is approximately 30 feet by 12 feet and can be **heated during non summer months for an additional charge. The spa may be heated any time during the year for an additional charge. **The tanning ledge is perfect for entertaining young children. Home is very close to the Bike/Walking Path that leads to the beach or the path around the island. Enjoy a nice evening by the pool with a fire (propane) or in your private spa. Community connects to the bike path which connects to several restaurants, bars, putt putt golf, arcade game room.
All siding and doors have been replaced and freshly painted interior and exterior along with the new pool and spa.
Upon entering, you experience a beautiful tiled open foyer that leads into a large open living area which includes the dining, kitchen and family room.
The family room hosts plenty of seating to include a large sectional, recliner and a office nook with desk. It also displays a brick wood burning fireplace with a flat screen TV, Hulu live TV, Wireless Internet, and a Blu-Ray DVD player (or streaming smart tv), that can be viewed from the entire main living area. The washer and dryer are right off the family room, with a separate entrance.
The Dining room consists of a nice farm style table with seating for six, plus a breakfast bar with seating for four. The kitchen hosts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, backslash, over the range microwave, Convection Oven, Keurig and brew coffeemakers, Instant Pot, and everything you need for a stress free vacation.
Master en-suite consists of a flat screen TV, with Hulu live, King Tempurpedic bed, hardwood floors with french doors leading out to the private backyard to enjoy your morning coffee by the pool/spa. The master bath consists of double sink vanity, oversized shower with bench.
Front Bedroom#2 has a queen bed, flat screen TV, hulu live, hardwood floors, large closet with shelving.
Back Bedroom #3 has a queen bed, flat screen TV, hulu live, Laminate wood floors, large closet with built in storage.
Bedroom #4 has two sets of bunk beds, flat screen TV, hulu live tv, hardwood floors, large closet with storage.
All bedrooms have adequate storage and ceiling fans.
Hall bathroom has a granite counter sink and large shower.
Large fenced backyard includes a in-ground gunite pool/spa, an outdoor covered lighted pergola with fan for entertaining with Sofa Seating and two swivel chairs, propane firepit for chilly evenings, umbrella table with six seats for dining or watching TV poolside. Another four seater table & chairs, plus several additional seating areas and a gas grill for all your outdoor cooking needs. The backyard also contains an outdoor shower for returning from the beach and washing off the sand from you and your toys.
The Backyard is perfect for family gatherings in the pool, corn hole, horseshoes, or letting your furry well behaved family member have room to roam. Bikes, beach chairs, beach wagons, beach toys, games, DVD's, and books are all available for your use.
**Winter Only - Pool & Spa can be heated for an additional fee of 750.00/week to a max pool temp of 88 degrees**
Spa heat max 102 degrees and can be heated separately for 200.00 for the week. We do not heat the pool between Memorial Day to Mid September.

Summary: The home was lovely. Well appointed kitchen with some nice extras. The house was decorated beautifully and was so comfortable. The outdoor area was just amazing. The pool and spa were perfect and we loved the screened in pergola. Just a short 10 min walk to the beach too. We had a great time and felt refreshed after our stay here. The owners kept us informed of all planned pool cleaners, landscapers and trash pick up schedules. They were very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our daughter, son, and their families. Very nice accommodations. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hurricane Debby decided to visit for 3 days. The house had puzzles and games to help pass the time. And flashlights and candles if the power went out (it didn't). We were able to make trips to restaurants and distilleries between rain showers. Wish we had had an opportunity to use the 8? bicycles but the weather interfered. There are about 10 beach chairs available for use too. Hope to visit again and would consider this house. We met the grey parrot and macaw on the porch across the street. Heard them whistling and talking and asked to meet them.

Summary: We rented this house for a family vacation. It was PERFECT! It had everything you needed even beach chairs, a beach wagon and plenty of bikes. The house is within walking distance to the beach and the backyard with the pool and gazebo is where we spent our time after the beach. There are plenty of puzzles and games, which a few of us did in the evenings and during the rainy times. We highly recommend this house and will definitely be renting it again. Thank you and we will be in touch for next year!

Summary: Our family really enjoyed this beautiful, beachy home. The patio, hot tub & pool are the best. Kitchen was very well stocked & great to cook in. Gas Grill was great too. Our first time staying in Folly Field area, much less traffic. Our only wish was that the beach was closer, it was a 10-15 minute walk w/kids & stuff. Beach was very crowded so we didnt go often. Plus our pool area was awesome at the house! Watching the Olympics from the pool, amazing!

Summary: We had a fantastic time while staying at Carolina on my Mind. The house was so beautiful and clean and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The location of the house is PERFECT. Just a 8 minute walk to the beach and mini golf/arcade/restaurant. The house was fully stocked with all the necessities we needed. The pool/spa was like a mini oasis. All beach chairs and beach necessities are provided as well. Joe and Tonya were great hosts and very responsive when we text with questions. We hope to come back to SC someday and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us and our furbabies.

Summary: We thoroughly loved this house. You all don’t know me but I am picky & annoying when I stay somewhere other than my home. I’m a 5 star hotel kinda girl (whether or not I can afford it…that’s what I expect…like I said, I’m annoying!) Somehow, Tonya made this home utterly fantastic. I have no complaints and didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this rental and want to thank the owners for thinking of absolutely everything so that our trip was fantabulous.
